[Ling's overall response to this is... to eat another cracker, crunching it extra loudly, for emphasis. Don't get him wrong, he loves the attention, settling back into Greed's pseudo-embrace quite comfortably!

Luckily, there are only a few crackers left in the box.]

In my defense, you climbed up on the kitchen counter and started throwing snacks at me. Talk about mixed messages...

You were blushing when I touched your neck. You're so jaded already?

[His fingers curl, groping him lightly, as he drags his teeth against his neck. It's . . . not quite as sexy when your not-boyfriend is eating stale crackers, but he'll get him there.]

[Greed opened this door, he has to live with the consequences and also crumbs. Ling's insatiable cracker devouring is paused, at least, while he tilts his head to appreciate teeth against skin.]

Hey now, when you throw beef jerky at me, yes.

That's a pity.

[Teeth dragging against skin, his hand pulling out of his pocket to sneak around the front and slip beneath Ling's shirt. Calloused fingers skitter up his stomach, tracing lightly against him, and oh, hello, he'd expected softness, not clearly defined muscles. That's . . . odd, and surprising, and they're definitely going to come back to that, but not just yet.]

I was kind of looking forward to you going all wild beneath me the first time I fucked you on that bed. Tied you to a bed, maybe, keep your legs open for me-- or shit, Ling, just here. I've thought about bending you over a counter from the moment you walked in, you know that?

[local boyfriend actually already 40% twunk, sources say]

[How far back does this need to fuck him go, he wonders-- And he's all out of crackers now, so that's the box dropped at his feet for Envy to get angry at later. Ling reaches up and back, interlocking his fingers behind Greed's neck now that he's paying attention. It makes his shirt ride up in front, helpfully.]

I don't really know what I'm doing, so...

[He doesn't know what he's doing, but that's kind of the appeal. It'll morph into a different kind of appeal once he figures out how to work that body to his full advantage, but for now, Greed's going to enjoy what he's got.

Besides. There's a hideous sort of pleasure in being his first. Taking all of him, consuming him, ensuring that no matter what, Ling will always remember him.]

[Ah, how convenient, look at all this bare stomach for him to feel up . . . eventually he'll hoist his shirt up even farther, but one thing at a time. Sometimes it's nice to go slow.]

[Whenever they get to it, it's going to be a lesson of some kind or another. As far as Ling is concerned it's an inevitability, which is its own kind of thrill despite being a foregone conclusion. Just the thought that sooner or later Greed is going to take him to bed (or, he supposes, kitchen counter, whatever) is enough for the time being.

So he's having Greed dress up for fancy dates and feel him up in his kitchen to torture himself, apparently.]

[Mostly because he likes being a bully, not to mention he wants to hear him say it. Say anything filthy, really, it'd be nice to hear that articulated tone pronouncing something hideous.

Languidly, surprisingly gracefully, his legs uncurl, framing Ling between them. His head tips up, nosing at his neck, the back of his ear, babe, come on.]

[Now Greed wants him, certified inexperienced virgin, to talk dirty. What is he supposed to say? Just say "dick" half a dozen times? He leans back into him, dropping one hand to slide over Greed's thigh at his side.

Hmm!]

Well, I can show you how flexible I am. Is that anything?

[Like, actually though, he will do a split if asked.]

[He barks out a laugh, because-- seriously, that's what he comes up with? Greed was expecting something more like oh, please, teach me how to use my mouth, I've never done it before, y'know, because that's how Ling talks.

It's kind of mean that he laughs, and he yanks him in closer, ensuring he won't wiggle away or something.]

Shit, why not? Go on, show me how you do.

[Greed... babe??]

How am I supposed to if you won't let go of me...? Clingy!

[He'll try anyway, since the only thing he can't do is cartwheel away from here, or whatever. It will take a little pulling against Greed's arm around him, just enough to reach down and grab his own foot so he can stretch that leg straight up over his head. Tada!! Thanks for holding him upright so he doesn't have to worry about balance.]

This is a lot harder with you grabbing me, actually.

Yeah, but you did it.

[So clearly it's fine, stop complaining. Still, though, he is impressed; that's more than he can do, and bodes well for . . . a lot of things, honestly, some of them in the bedroom and some of them out.]

Besides: it's way more impressive this way. And it is impressive.

[Real praise! Said as he slides his hand higher, hoisting his shirt up properly.]

Where'd you learn to do that?

[Ughh, but it's annoying... He hums, satisfied, before dropping his leg back down. That's his point proven, thanks for the praise.]

[And because this shirt was pressed before he came out tonight, he starts unbuttoning it now that Greed is wrinkling it. Please.]

[Someday, there will be a shirt that gets torn through, and Ling will be really mad. But for today, he allows that, pulling his hand back and withdrawing just enough to let Ling unbutton his shirt. He's quick to pulling it off his shoulders the moment he's able, but rather than lean back in, he draws back.]

Turn around.

[Be careful with that shirt, he only brought the one to go home in. He does as he's told, anyway, pivoting in place to face Greed.]

So?

[He's being judged on his physique, right? That seems like a Greed thing to do.]

[Less judged (a little judged) and more simply inspected. It's been six months Ling's been coming to his bar, which means it's been five months and three weeks since he's wondered what Ling looked like beneath all those fancy clothes.

He rests his chin in the palm of his hand, grinning faintly as his eyes slide down his body. It's a nice body, way more muscled than he thought it'd be, but not overwhelmingly so. But defined, his arms nicely shaped, his torso long and his gaze more confident than Greed suspects he truly is.

He finally meets his eyes again.]

So . . . definitely worth the wait.

[Inspected, sure, whatever he wants to call it. Ling is confident, not minding at all the way Greed looks him up and down (honestly, can he stop wearing shirts? This is much more comfy), but he's got the plucky confidence of someone who's never really been taken down a peg. These abs aren't for show, but he breaks out of his own bedroom more than he does anything serious.

So... work in progress.

He reaches up to drape his arms over Greed's shoulders again, stepping closer in what little space he still has.]

Are you just trying to make me feel special? I won't complain if you are.

Nah.

[He really isn't. Greed leans in, pressing their foreheads together, not quite kissing him just yet. His fingers drag lightly over his shoulders, feeling the lines of his body out.]

I'm not gonna butter you up. You look good, why shouldn't I say it?

I'm only wondering. Why shouldn't I ask?

[It's been six months; Ling knows Greed flirts with whoever he wants and succeeds in winning them over pretty much without fail. He only wants to know if that's where he stands, for practical purposes. For paying-for-more-dates purposes. For don't look at him like that so closely, his little heart has no concept of logic and reason purposes.

Shut up and kiss him, basically.]

[He doesn't, in fact, shut up and kiss him. He tips his head back. He can't really get another proper look at him, not when he's pressed so close, but he can try. His eyes flit up and down him again, and one hand slides over him, dragging against his collarbone, up his neck, hooking beneath his chin so he can tip Ling's head up.]

You're a lot more interesting than some sorority girl. Believe me.

[Not what he wanted, but alright. He can't help but shiver under Greed's touch, anyway, despite himself - any attention is good attention, in the end.

All sorority girls are queens? Meh-]

I do. And so are you, but you knew that.

[And see, a shiver like that? Is worth everything. His mouth ducks down, dodging Ling's mouth so he can graze his teeth against his neck. It's not a bite, not yet, but it's the threat of one.]

Hmmm? Tell me, why don't you. I could use the ego boost.

[No, he doesn't need that.]

[Ah, he thought he was going to be kissed— teeth make him shiver even more, sliding one hand into Greed's hair. This man has never needed an ego boost in his life, the narcissist, and yet Ling is going to say--something.]

Tell you what? That you're very handsome? That I came into your bar to find some answers to my family's problem and I found you, instead, and so I kept coming back?

[Like some of those girls, probably, but a little bit more persistent. He thinks.]

Don't tell anyone, but I have a crush on the bartender.

[He hums softly at that first part-- yes, tell him things like that, exactly that, good job Ling-- and keeps his mouth moving. No kisses, not yet, but tongue replaces teeth, little licks tracing over the reddened marks he'd left.]

Is that right.

[That is unusual. Plenty of girls (and boys, sometimes) have wanted to fuck him; fewer have wanted to date him. He's not exactly boyfriend material. And no, that's not exactly what Ling said, but that's what a crush means, doesn't it? Which is . . . sort of worrying, honestly, if he thinks about it too long, which is why he isn't going to think about it.

Instead: fingers creeping up his torso, dragging against his back, touch feather-light and teasing, as he tips his head up, working just beneath his jaw.]

And what is it you're hoping he'll do, huh? Once he starts noticing you.

[He can tell Greed things like that until he's blue in the face- among other places, admittedly- as long as he's rewarded with whatever this is, affection or not. He's satisfied, for now; boyfriend material or not - and Ling doesn't have any standards to meet, technically speaking, which might not be the best way to be as a person... but whatever- boyfriend quality aside, he can live with this.

At least for now. He's already said he has no idea what he's doing, so-- who can blame him. Nobody! This will work out!]

Let me take him to dinner and introduce me to his cat.
