[Kazuya mentally flailed. He flailed with all of his might! And then blurted out the next thing that crossed his mind;] H-How are you today?

[Surrounded most often by hardasses and no-fun jerks in Haven - and at home, honestly - this is sooo entertaining. It's second nature for Alois to be overly touchy, especially when someone reacts in such a profoundly excessive way.

Alright... [Still bemused, Kazuya allowed Alois to drag him towards his apartment block, wondering why they were going ot hide a broom of all things. Did it belong to someone? Well... hiding something from someone is a harmless prank, so, Kazuya didn't see any harm in it] So, who owns this broom we're hiding?

This wretched girl I'm forced to live here with. She's tormented me with conjurings of maggots and beetles the size of a man and I'm sick of it! [True, but he's leaving out the part where he made her cry. HA HA...]

She's practically in love with this broom— We'll see how she likes a taste of her own cruelty!

Kazuya frowned, suddenly looking a little severe. So... one of Alois's roommates was bullying him? Well- hm, there is always the possibility that Alois had upset them somehow by being, well, himself, but that didn't give them license to cast spells on him. A simple head-thwack would do]

I see... alright. [Kazuya's frown turned into a rather impish smile] Let's toss it somewhere where she won't find it for a long time, then~

[Two of them, actually, but for some reason he's more tight-lipped about the demonic one hanging him on posts and threatening to kill him—mostly because of the threats on his life, wow. Roommates suck and he hates them.

He perks up considerably at this new enthusiasm for his rude broom prank, though. What a pal...]

Do you think it would get stuck if we tossed it in the well? [ha haaa— meanwhile welcome to block 28, follow Alois to his room where he has stashed said broom kind of awkwardly between his bunk and the wall] I thought about getting it over with and breaking it, but then it'd just be a smaller broom.

Let's not break it. [The broom may be special to that person, and while Kazuya saw no problem in punishing them for their bullying, he didn't want to hurt them permanently by breaking something precious to them] And the well's probably too obvious and hard for them to get it back from... hmm...

[Where could they take it...? The problem with Haven was that there was barely anything around, so...] We could hide it in my apartment block. Your roommate doesn't know me, so.

[Wow, it's only a broom... a broom that she cried over... Thank god Alois' laziness takes over before he does stupidly rash things, sometimes. He manages to get it out of its holding place and gives a little spin, ending with the broom held like a sword and pointed at Kazuya.

[Kazuya knew that much. His words were in good humour though, and he looked the broom over critically, his eyebrow raised slightly]

[Willing to lie (about a dumb thing) for him— one hundred meaningless points to Kazuya. Alois wiggles the broom at him like he might go for a poke in the side, but he doesn't... you're welcome]

It's a broom, of course it isn't much. But she's so attached to this stupid stick.

Hmm... [Wait, if she could conjure up illusions...] Is she some sort of, uh, what is it... [It's a Western thing...] A witch? Witches ride brooms, don't they? Maybe it's her main mode of transportation here, or something.

[He's wondered if she's a witch, himself... BUT] I haven't seen her fly around. All she does is sweep and complain.

...maybe that's why you two don't get along... [Too similar. If they're both complaining at each other, no wonder they clash...]

Alois willfully interprets this as something else. What it is isn't clear, but it's not the part where he's an annoying brat.] She ought to knock it off or leave, if you ask me.

When living with other people, you do need to make compromises.

[He only scoffs at that; first of all, no, second- there are so many points to complaining about her behind her back. So many! All the same, he shoulders the broom and motions with his free hand for Kazuya to go, go.]

None, because I'm easy to get along with.

[Kazuya said this with a bit of a wry smile - he knew for a fact he was insanely difficult to get along with, it just seemed like Alois was one of the few exceptions. He obediently stepped out of the room, though, leading the way out of Alois's apartment]
