God, D has so many issues. He's genuinely Not Very Bothered about the CDC's overall mission at the moment, mostly because he's internalized the idea of surviving as a monument to his weirdass plant people rather than making any objections. I could go on about this for the next 30 years but instead I'll go to actually plotting capabilities, which are... hm, strained, I guess? I won't pretend it's fun and busy having a character on Blue because it's NOT, let's be real, most of the things Blue is responsible for are handwaved. I've already mentioned being tired of animal duty, and even the things Blue is given to work out amongst ourselves like hunting and looking at a statue jesus so exciting are like, hm... or, I could not, because I personally am bored by these things.
What this means for D is basically nothing, because he's a lazy piece of shit, so most of my "plotting" is really "you want a thread? yeah he'll JUST TURN UP," because that's how he operates. I'd like more things for Blue to do besides general upkeep/dull shit that gets handwaved, because it's not impossible to get D to participate in larger plot - he was up a mountain with some dippy machine!! he did that!! - but drifting in this Mega Blue Downtime state is so... u feel me

If SUDDENLY HAD to let someone go (I don't, I won't, CDC AC is remarkably low if you tag faster than once a fortnight), D fits the setting less than Shiroe. He's more established, obviously, but in the long term... I mean unless more people than just me are deeply invested in his spiral into MONUMENT UNTO MY PEOPLE'S STRUGGLE legacyism, lmf. Jesus.
I don't know why I even put one square because I'm clearly super invested HAHAHA.

My crazy space child... I didn't expect Shiroe to become one of those characters I can just pick up again without any effort, but look, here we are. The only semi-issue is that Terra canon shows Shiroe literally in two settings, ever, and he doesn't remember one of them, so I kind of have to bullshit how he responds to everything in-game that's different than what he's used to... which is all of it. Unbridled preference of the CDC over being brainmelted plus a healthy dollop of "you are an idiot if you TRUST them, lol, trust no spacebitch" seems to be working out.

He has a relevant skill, which is more than I can usually say for my characters. He's also nosy as shit, so shoving him in all the business is not very difficult. It hasn't even been official drop log time yet, but still, I have a good feeling...
Also, he'll need to realize he's fucking psychic one of these days, and possibly literally burst with exciting psychic powers. He'll have something to do when that happens or he'll just be uselessly broadcasting his bratty thoughts to everyone.
