Is she going to repeat it?
no subject
[He respects the hell out of Nezu, all right, but he's just saying: the thought of Jelly suddenly recalling things and repeating them isn't as outlandish as it used to be.
But this isn't much of a fight, and he tips his head back lazily. It's possible he's angling for a kiss. It's possible he's just exhausted and likes being near to Toshinori. But that can't last; he's still got a whole stack of essays to grade, and he returns to them with an irritated exhale.]
I have to start imposing word limits as well as requirements . . .
[It's just unfair to have both Midoriya and Iida in one class.]
no subject
On the one hand, the students' learning is important... on the other, grading gives him palpitations, so he leans down to kiss against his neck again. Hmm.]
Mm, that's fair.
no subject
Mmhm. It's not a question of fairness. It's a question of how badly your favorite and Iida will react when they hear they can't go on for an extra five pages.
[But more smooches, please, as he tips his head pointedly. He even nudges his hair out of the way, although if this goes on he might just tie it back.]
no subject
That's-- well, to be honest, it takes me such a long time to go through any of their written work...
[He's weak and basically every other possible thing in the world is more interesting than grading. For example, smooching, which he gladly continues.]
no subject
You overthink it. And then you want to be too personalized.
no subject
[It's a real struggle and he would like it respected, thanks. The affection helps.]
I've never been good at compositions.
[Explaining himself? When will "I dunno, it just works" finally be accepted??]
no subject
[He demonstrates by scrawling another X against the paper. Poor Sero . . . ]
no subject
[He is truly this bad. This is why he never became a teacher until favoritism pushed him to.]
I'll figure it out soon... Practical exams are so much easier.
no subject
[But he punctuates that with a kiss, twisting back so he can land it on his mouth. And then, quietly:]
Come here.
no subject
I'm already here.
[What is he supposed to do, get on the floor? How about Aizawa comes up here on the couch, like a civilized person??]
no subject
[Yes, come on the floor. Jelly is here. It's a great place.]
no subject
Why are you on the floor, anyway?
no subject
[And he hadn't initially wanted to disrupt Toshinori. That, too, was a factor.]
Look. All you have to do is skim the page, all right?
[So do it, as he tips the essay closer to him, edging so their bodies are pressed together. This is nice . . . he likes Toshinori's head atop his.]
no subject
You tricked me into grading! And here I thought I wasn't supposed to exert myself today.
[No, he doesn't want to. This isn't even remotely mature, but he's retired now, he can do what he wants.
He does, however, take the essay and Look at it. Is he reading it? Who knows.]
no subject
[It's the dryest evil laugh ever. Aizawa shifts, nosing lightly against his neck, his eyes on the essay. Read it, punk.]
no subject
He is trying to read it without being distracted by the much more interesting things Aizawa is doing, hm.]
Well, it's... attempting to be thorough?
no subject
[He murmurs all that against his neck, then kisses him gently. He does it because he likes him, of course, but there's an element of amusement there as well.]
no subject
Ah-- I think you might have to write the note.
[His arm. Is still broken.]
no subject
[A grunt of acknowledgement, and he sets his pen to paper-- and then pauses, nipping at his neck.]
So? Tell me what to write.
no subject
Well-- "be... more succinct"?
no subject
Look at that. You managed one of the three things.
[He nips at him again. This is almost certainly as a reward.]
Now: a good thing.
no subject
The details? [Toshinori, commit.] The details are good! Very vivid!
no subject
Two out of three.
[he doesn't write this down just yet, if only because it would look odd on the margins. Instead:]
Final test: any last comments you want to add?
[His tongue darts out, and he huffs a laugh.]
Toshinori?
no subject
"Great start"?
[This is the caliber of actual grading that he does on a normal day, for the record. Aizawa's mouth has not rendered him useless, he already was.]
