[ Good that Mirio is actually receptive. The thought of a reciprocated attraction has him over the moon, but of course, he's not about to get his hopes up just yet. Mirio definitely isn't stupid, but it's hard to tell if he's reading the situation correctly or not. Does he know Josuke means it'll be a date, or does he think he only wants to hang out? Is he the type to agree to go on a date with someone he doesn't like that way, just for the fun of it? Who even knows. Josuke's always been a bit shy, but he has to press on. Even if it doesn't work out, at least they'll have a great time, right? He's secure enough in himself to not take rejection very badly.

'Little Prince' definitely sounds flirtatious, but then again, who knows!!!! There's a huff in amusement at the weird pose he caught Mirio in, and then he continues. ]

We could catch a movie then get some dinner afterward. [ It doesn't get more 'date' than that. ] Or if you're bored of the classics, there's also the arcade.

[ It's fine he'll probably be naked sometime later -- and not even in the sexy way, Mirio is usually at least half-naked. As Josuke watches Mirio show himself out in that bizarre way (why is he a jojo), he can't help but feel both accomplished and excited for their date. It's also a little nerve-wrecking, as he decides if just being himself is enough or if a little extra is needed to charm the boy he fancies. Isn't that how it goes on TV? Usually with a girl, of course, but courtship is courtship and there shouldn't be that vast of a difference. It speaks a lot for his inexperience if he's mostly going off from television of all things, but Josuke rarely ever finds time to date.

Saturday comes much sooner than expected, and he feels like he barely has time to get mentally prepared before it's time to head over to Mirio's dorm and start this whole thing. Not that Josuke doesn't always dress well, but today he's aiming to impress, slipping into his most expensive shoes and clothes. This isn't only a Hero AU, but also an AU where he doesn't exist in his school uniform.

He's also brought flowers. Hopefully, it's not too much. Well, being a bit hammy is kind of in his blood. Now that he's at the door he's feeling a bit unsure about the flowers, but what's done is done. He can't waste them now that he's bought them. ]
