once more with shitposting
[Reim is loath to think it's convenient that the city needs to be put back together after everything. There's been so much loss, they've all felt it—but having something to do after Pandora is dissolved keeps everyone's minds off those things, more or less, so. It's a little convenient. It keeps people busy, himself included.
Most people, anyway... Reim has more than enough to do, from ironing out the details of the relief efforts (it's-not-Pandora-but-it's-mostly-the-same-people is not a viable organization name, the struggle) to dealing with people on a much more individual level, including trying to integrate the remaining Baskervilles— he's never been more stressed in his life!!
Unlike some people apparently on a quest to ruin the only peace and quiet he has in his schedule - locking himself in his office to eat meals - in between everything else. It's just after he's been to check up on Duke Barma, who is surprisingly... robust, if bedridden, and he's escaped that harrowing exchange only to find his office invaded and some kind of food out. It smells like food. That's not the lunch he ordered??
He sighs. It must be every day of his life at once. He will address... the office:]
Xerxes, come out of there.
[he doesn't even know where, but he Knows it's somewhere.]

[Every time he talks about efficiency, Break loses a day off his life... It's no wonder he
iswas dying. He elbows him as he catches up, but it is a journey without protest otherwise. He has to commit which door it is to memory so he can just come drop off some of his other things... He's already thinking about it. Awful.]You know, just because I love you, doesn't mean you're the nicest person to have... Remember you can still refrain from saying such terrible things like that, regardless of my low standards.

You don't want "nicest." [Please, imagine if they were sweet to each other all the time? Terrible.] I'd be happy to let you make a mess of my things.
[Ah, he really can't help it. Sorry, darling. Here...] Whatever you need, just ask.

[Reim is rude! The mess in his office wasn't that bad, so give him a break... He would hit him if he weren't holding the snack tower.]
You can move my clothes for me, tomorrow. That way you can't complain on where they're placed, or something.

And you'll throw them around within the week, but thank you for giving me just a little peace of mind. Come in, come in...

[If Reim is going to be so rude, he'll be rude back... Even if he's not wrong. Break walks ahead of him to find some table to set down the snack tower, then immediately removes his coat and throws it on the end of the bed. His shoes are just kicked off after he sits down to, so either ignoring it, or he's oblivious to the fact he's just proving Reim's point.]
At least it's comfortable.

[Reim does not put the bottle of wine down, because he needs to drink approximately half of it or more, depending on how much Break is going to drink. It's alcohol time and not even out of glasses? Whatever, just don't spill wine on his expensive bedspread.
He does stop to stoop down and move Break's shoes somewhere that no one will trip on them at 3am, before he putters around looking for a corkscrew. As an old man full of liquor fairly often, of course he has one in his bedroom...]
You know, besides sleeping here, you've already practically lived here. [needy]

Oh? And what qualifies as living here? I was under the impression I was visiting, just to see you...

Visiting for so long? I suppose if you don't want to stay, I can't make you...
