[Regis has been preoccupied. When isn't he -- his upcoming birthday is mercifully only part of it, on top of all the other things Frankenstein's household has to deal with so often, and schoolwork. Schoolwork in particular has been bothersome lately, as at least one of the children seems to need his help every day for much longer than they usually bother to ask... or do their work in general. He's mystified, somewhat, because the material hasn't gotten that much more difficult! But it's his duty to help, so he's obliged anyway...
So, honestly, his looming birthday has not been at the forefront of his mind. He's been wondering, though, if someone is going to mention it... Seira hasn't, and he at least expected her to mention it in passing by now! It's an important year for once, surely Seira should speak to him regarding the upcoming changes-- but no, it's been quite silent. He's sure that Frankenstein knows the date somehow by now, and surely he wouldn't care, but Regis might have hoped he would let it slip to Rai, who could acknowledge him on such a special day and make any other nonsense that happened meaningless by comparison.
Nonsense like this, right here and now. He's stuck with M21, fetching snacks? The children didn't even want to come? They spend so long picking out their snacks, but at least they speak willingly... M21 is terrible company!]
