i don't i don't give a fuck bitch

It hasn't been long since everything returned to normal in Morioh. Jotaro and Joseph had left, their town was scrubbed clean of any everyday villains, and Josuke had his friends friends and school. It was so normal and completely bizarre after living through those hectic months chasing Kira. The biggest thing he had to worry about now was the math test he hadn't studied for staring him in the face. He countered the dreaded test by staring question one right in the face. This teacher was a devil for including this many questions that required being graphed.

He could have studied with Koichi or Jotaro if the latter was still in town. Even that old man Joseph had been helpful once or twice with English before he had left. Josuke couldn't help but frown. Had he gotten that reliant on those guys? It was a good thing that everything was calm enough for them to leave. Even if it meant everything went back to being boring too. No... He couldn't say that either. Koichi and Okuyasu were still around and did he ever have friends as close as them before the whole fiasco? He definitely didn't. He'd just have to come up with an adventure for them to go on himself after class. Something a lot more exciting than algebra. Tap, tap, tap. His mind was officially wandering, tapping his mechanical pencil against his desk rather than doing his work.

So much so, in fact, that his chin nearly slips off his propped up hand when the teacher calls out five more minutes. What? That had to be a lie! In a panic he shoots a look left and right at all his nearly finished classmates. He can't do this in time-

"Psst!" Josuke practically bores holes into the side of Okuyasu's head with his desperate look. In a definitely not quiet enough whisper he beseeches his dear friend, "Dude, what's number one?!" It's not his finest moment but Koichi was way too far for whispers to work.

Ice cream, man. The rest goes into the bank and so might as well not exist until he's a grown adult or whatever. He sighs about their lunch options because they're... just as mediocre as they usually are, all things considered - and he's hungry! He didn't have breakfast, come on!

So, "Let's split something. I'm gonna starve if I have to survive on bread for the rest of the day, man!"

Stingy or no, he trusts Josuke to not take back this lunch offer (while there's a pudding at stake), so he quickly recounts his 200 yen to be sure it's really enough and then drops the coins into Josuke's hand. He's making that desolate, I-Will-Really-Starve face as he does this; it's up to Josuke to actually make a purchase before Okuyasu veers off into desserts.
