May sucked objectively, like, as a month, and while I expected June to pick up again, I don't really have an excess amount of threads. My stuff from the beginning of the month (Beth, plot) wrapped up already so I'm just plodding along with what I have... Reim tags get done but I'm not jumping rabidly at them.

The cast isn't super huge anymore. woe.... we made it so far... Still, everyone is and has been rock solid, so high fives for everyone.

There it is... Okay, so, this is a thing I've mentioned in a plurk here and there before, but what's going on with Reim ICly is this: SINCE he spent months brooding over a growing need to get something Done and then threw himself at the chance to round up the psychos and contact Caroline for Team Kill Beth, he's in a weird place where he's both lost some interest in the daily life of Haven and also is treading more carefully around non-killbeths than he did before. He thinks about this Great Haven Problems stuff basically all the time, and the timing of #killbeth happened to be just after a decent chunk of his actually nice CR dropped, soooo— he's captain of the psycho squad?? And as captain has more pressing worries than, you know, entertaining the new people or getting involved in daily life efforts.
(Also the last volunteer day was not notably successful and he's been pissed off about Organization since July 2013, so he's kinda bitter about Havenite group efforts as a whole. Nothing personal.)
Where this leaves Reim is quietly obsessing over his murder plot and casually avoiding most of his other CR, except like, castmates... This plus the aforementioned Trouble With Newcomers drop him solidly in the territory of neck deep in his own plot problems and, as such, hard to throw everywhere else. He probably should chat with Caroline again just so he can fucking relax a little?? Think about something else you nerd piece of shit, god.

Pretty much the same situation as Reim, except that Alois simply has less tags, so he takes less priority. He's also stupid and as a result I can do his tags in a couple minutes, so I don't really worry about them at all.
MUSE STRENGTH: ■■■□□
Do you know how aware I am of how wholly against the grain my Alois is, in terms of common interpretations... NOT TO TALK SMACK about the days of yore when Kuroshit was popular, but uh, weepy uke baby Alois offends me on a critical level - which is why Alois in Haven has gone in the opposite direction and sort of lost it a little more. See: shooting people and getting in too many violent fights... At the same time I can't help but go is this still IC or did I take it too far??, so ehhh what I'm saying is it has ups and downs. The muse strength I mean. Being in Haven for an extended period of time (without Claude, that part is important) has also ramped up his street urchin survival instincts again and made him very angry, which is why he acts like a rich brat but he could murder someone in the ruins and take their cans if he were too hungry to forage on his own. UHHHH YEAH

Fortunately Christy's Sebastian is perfect.

Alois is relatively easy to throw around - iiiif I want a quick and terrible negative CR thread, anyway. He does not care about the metaplot at all, which I guess means he's the literal opposite of Reim, but it's something to work around. Like, caring about the bigger plot stuff is not required, but it feels weird to me personally to be actively disinterested... in a game like Haven where it's all so integrated.
And on the negative CR topic—the day someone accuses me of avoiding negative CR is the day I drive nais into my eyes, seriously, every time someone is like "can i punch alois" I'm like HELL YEAH!!!—but wow, the sheer amount is a little... exhausting? Obviously it's a consequence of playing someone who is genuinely a horrible child and not a rude kid with a heart of gold!! but jesus, if I had a nickel for every time I felt halfway through a thread like the other player probably wasn't going to pursue CR with me because he's just so fucking awful... Feels kinda bad!! Even Alois has a point after which so much negative CR will make him basically unplayable, u feel me??
don't let this stop you from being terrible to him because it certainly won't stop ME

WELL, less now that the lv1 clearance stuff has been suspended before it really took off... D was only a lieutenant, but I was hoping that would go somewhere-! It has not been a good time for getting D out and about lately because without prompting/being forced, he literally will just wander off and play with his dumb cats for weeks at a time. CDC's been having downtime for a while now so I've barely done anything all June... gomen... I need to find him a niche where he has to actually talk to other people.

In the interest of continuing frankness, there are a bunch of things about CDC as a game that I plain don't like... laughs nervously. Mostly I think it's too big and I didn't join a log-heavy space game to tweet all day, BUT I'm not really interested in opening up a discussion on that and the mods addressed both these things in that last modpost in a way I agreed with/appreciated/whatever, so. I'm doing my damned best to get invested in this game because it's such a great concept, and I already have AC anyway so I'm good to continue... doing that. In July.

churchbelle to Forest Covered and am waiting to hear back on that...!! help me lord i love hazel so much, it's a problem, a real problemI might also be interested in making some truly whim-dominated app choices (I say even though it takes me weeks to decide on one app) because I have the time... but I'm not sure because no other games really catch my eye too often. Still tossing around the idea of a third at Haven to try and get integrated into the daily life plot again, because I feel like a good chunk of my weird issues with my losers in Haven is from OOC burnout on my part... since you know, been a year now and all. But!! Who knows!!!! Would that solve the problem or would it just annoy me because I know all the info my third would learn fresh. NO CLUE
