[The morning is almost unbearably short; if it were up to Toshinori he'd keep Aizawa until noon at the earliest, just to kiss him and feel him close. Sex or no sex, having Aizawa within reach is something he's already gotten himself infatuated with; after their somewhat rocky start and then all the other stressful factors, he just wants the man nearby. Where he can reach out and touch him whenever he wants, smooth his hair back, pull him close--
But duty calls! Or rather-- duty calls Aizawa, today, and Toshinori has to promise a second time that he will stay home and not exert himself. He keeps that promise as best he can, as bored as he is, but the most exertion he actually does is trying to find his phone (which he eventually locates under a suit jacket draped over a chair, and in finding it, also finds no less than a dozen texts from Mic, several of which are just emojis...).
He chooses not to respond to those, for the sake of his blood pressure and Aizawa's, too. Later.
So it's an incredibly boring day. Gran Torino calls him from the hospital and he politely turns down a visit, insisting that he's just fine and yes, he's even remembering to eat (and then he remembers to shuffle carefully to the kitchen and eat). That's the most interaction he gets, and the rest of the day is spent lying in bed watching American Movies and thinking about Aizawa. Oh, he does his best to think about the students, about the trouble he's caused Midoriya and everyone by losing One for All on national television, but inevitably his thoughts drift back to Aizawa; his hands, the angle of his hips, those elusive smiles--
And then he dozes off, unsurprising given his physical state and his fitful sleep last night. Luckily, Aizawa definitely has his spare key, insistently given to him this morning before he left. Toshinori is asleep, and his phone buzzes with a new message from Mic, sent the precise moment Aizawa took Jelly and left.
So sad. He suddenly can't read, even if he was awake.]
